Robert Plant announces UK tour
Robert Plant has announced a 13-date UK tour this fall in support of his upcoming album, “lullaby and… The Ceaseless Roar.”
The 3-week trek begins November 9 in Newport, and will wrap up in Llandudno on Noveber 27.
Due September 5 in Europe, September 8 in the UK and September 9 in North America, “lullaby and… The Ceaseless Roar” sees Plant teaming up with The Sensational Space Shifters.
The band recently toured the world before recording the album at Helium Studios in Wiltshire and Real World Studios in Bath, UK.
The album features 9 new songs and two covers: The Stanley Brothers’ “Little Maggie” and the Lead Belly tune, “Poor Howard.”
This week, the Led Zeppelin singer released “Rainbow” as the lead single from the album.
Plant and the band are currently on the road playing shows across Europe this summer.

El disco del ex vocalista de Led Zeppelin, que estará en el mercado el próximo 9 de septiembre, incluye 11 nuevas canciones, nueve de las cuales son originales y escritas por Plant y su banda, The Sensational Space Shifters.

Robert Plant y su banda, conformada por Justin Adams, John Baggott, Juldeh Camara, Billy Fuller, Dave Smith y Liam ‘Skin’ Tyson, comenzará además una gira por Estados Unidos para otoño próximo.
Este álbum llega después de ‘Band of joy’, que salió en 2010 y ganador del Grammy en siete categorías y en colaboración junto a Alison Krauss & Raising Sand.
La más reciente alineación del grupo terminó una gira mundial antes de meterse a grabar ‘Lullaby and… The ceaseless roar’ en los Estudios Helium de la ciudad de Wiltshire, así como Real World Studios en Bath, Reino Unido.
