Queen Releasing Album Of Unreleased Freddie Mercury Song

Queen guitarist Brian May has revealed more details regarding the band's plans to issue unreleased material featuring the late Freddie Mercury, during a new interview with BBC Radio.
"We found a few more tracks with Freddie singing and all of us playing, and they're quite beautiful," May told BBC Radio Wales' Wynne Evans. "So people will be hearing this work towards the end of the year. We are gonna put out an album which probably is called Queen Forever. And it's a compilation, but it will have this new material which nobody in the world has ever heard. I think people will really enjoy it."
"Most of it comes from the '80s when we were in full flight. So it's is quite emotional," May continued. "It is the big, big ballads and the big, big epic sound. It wouldn't have been if we hadn't have done this restoration job. We had to start from scratch, because we only had scraps. But knowing how it would have happened if we had finished it, I can sit there and make it happen with modern technology. And we have Pro Tools these days; and you can do almost anything in Pro Tools."
The project is expected to include Mercury's work with Michael Jackson, as well as unreleased collaborations with David Bowie, Andy Gibb, and Rod Stewart.

El guitarrista de Queen, Brian May, ha declarado a BBC Wales que planean publicar a finales de este mismo año una nueva colección de canciones, entre las que habrá interpretaciones inéditas de Freddie Mercury. "Hay grandes baladas y suena épico. Tuvimos que empezar de cero porque sólo había sobras. Pero pude hacer que algo ocurriera gracias a la tecnología modernaHemos encontrado algunos temas con Freddie cantando y nosotros tocando que son bastante bonitos.
Es una recopilación pero tendrá este material que nadie en el mundo ha escuchado. Creo que la gente realmente lo disfrutará", ha señalado May, quien incluso ha anticipado que el álbum podría llamarse Queen Forever. La mayor parte del material de este Queen Forever data de la década de los ochenta, cuando Queen estaba "en pleno vuelo", según May. "Es emocionante. Hay grandes baladas y suena épico. Tuvimos que empezar de cero porque sólo había sobras. Pero pude sentarme y hacer que algo ocurriera gracias a la tecnología moderna", ha añadido.
May no ha aclarado si en Queen Forever estarán las canciones de las que habló hace unos meses, con Freddie cantando con Michael Jackson, recuerda Billboard. Mientras llegan estas canciones, Queen empezará el 19 de junio una nueva gira norteamericana con Adam Lambert como vocalista.
