Iron Maiden add dates to summer tour
Iron Maiden have announced a June 17th date in Belgrade, Serbia as the band continues to roll out its summer European tour schedule.
Maiden will play at Kalemegdan Park in Belgrade with openers Ghost, marking the band’s first open-air show in Serbia since 1981.
In the past two weeks, the group have revealed summer shows in Luxembourg, Norway and Poland; the trek begins May 31 at the Fortarock Festival in Nijmegen, Netherlands.
The 2014 dates will round off the band’s Maiden England World Tour, which will end with a headline performance at the UK Sonisphere Festival in July as part of the 40th Anniversary celebrations at Knebworth Park.
By the end of the tour, the band will have played 102 shows in 32 countries to well over two million fans since starting in the USA in June 2012.

Rolling Stones Rehearsed 60 Songs For 14 on Fire Tour
The Rolling Stones will embark on their 14 on Fire Tour on Saturday (Feb. 22) with their first-ever show in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. The tour will also make stops in Tokyo, Japan; Auckland, New Zealand; and Macau and Shanghai, China; among other cities.
Speaking with a United Arab Emirates radio station, guitarist Ronnie Wood said he and his band mates are pumped to take their songs to a new area.

“It’s excitement of the unknown,” he said. “Who knows if they’d even know who we are there?” Well, chances are they do know the Stones, considering the concert is sold out.
Wood said to expect a wide range of tours on this tour. “We just rehearsed in the last three or four days 60 songs, and we haven’t stopped yet,” Wood explained. “We’re going to get a whole big cross-section and take the most fitting for the set list, and try and adapt it to new audiences and new territories and territories we haven’t played in years.”
So, what about new music? That’s up in the air. “I don’t know -- we’ve got to get these gigs over first,” Wood said.
He added that vocalist Mick Jagger has been toying with the thought of releasing a collaborative album with some famous friends. “Sometimes we do duets with different rock artists over the world, and I think that’s in the back of his mind, to make an album with some of the guests we have,” he said.
