Como canto Tin Tan Ven a Rascarme Aquí, lo nuevo de Peter Gabriel...Xtreme Rock Radio

Para entender esto, primero habría que remontarnos a 2010 cuando Peter Gabriel  presenta  su disco Scratch my Back,  una compilación de temas favoritos de Gabriel  de otros artistas acompañado de orquesta y voz solamente, muy  a la manera de este señor. Ahora   presenta su contraparte,  And I’ll Scratch Yours, un disco con grupos o solistas interpretando temas de Peter Gabriel. Este es el track list del disco Scratch My back, en la voz de Gabriel del 2010.

Peter Gabriel has confirmed the tracklist for his album of covers, And I’ll Scratch Yours.

It follows 2010's Scratch My Back, which saw him recording a selection of songs by artists he admires. He said at the time: “If you’re going to reinterpret something, then really do something. Nail your colours to the mast and say, ‘This is different, and it isn’t everybody’s cup of tea.’”

The idea behind And I’ll Scratch Yours was to have those musicians return the favour. All but David Bowie, Neil Young, Ray Davies and Radiohead have now done so. “I’ve sort of given up waiting for the others,” Gabriel said in 2011. “I might try to find three or four other people to cover my stuff so I can make an album out of that.”

Lou Reed’s version of Solsbury Hill is described as a radical reinterpretation, while Brian Eno’s take on Mother Of Violence is “frighteningly futuristic,” according to Gabriel.

And I’ll Scratch Yours will be released on September 23. Arcade Fire have released their cover of Games Without Frontiers. Hear it below.
