Avenged Sevenfold Release New Song was a top story. Here is the recap:  After teasing fans with song snippets for the past few weeks, Avenged Sevenfold have finally released "Hail To The King," the first single and title track from their upcoming fifth studio album due out August 27.
"Hail To The King" appears to deliver on the promise singer M. Shadows made about channeling a classic metal sound. "I look around now and I see a lot of heavy rock bands and metal bands getting into dubstep and electronics and incorporating this new fashionable sh*t into their sound," M. Shadows told Kerrang! last November (via the band's website).

"That's not us. We're not interested in that. If anything, we're going almost in the opposite direction by going even more old school. I mean, we're going way back on this, to an album Black Sabbath-esque bluesy type thing, with some of the heaviest sounds we've ever made."

Hail To The King is the the first A7X album to feature Arin Ilegay. The band's former drummer and founding member, James "The Rev" Sullivan, passed away in 2009.

 This Fall we'll be heading out on our "Hail to the King" tour and taking Deftones and Ghost B.C. along for the ride.
