Ian Anderson revela que su nuevo disco de 2014 se llamará 'Homo Erraticus'

 El gran Ian Anderson, quien anunciaba hace unos meses que su nuevo disco con sus Jethro Tull en 2014 consistirá musicalmente en una fusion de folk y metal progresivo. Ahora ha desvelado que se llamará 'Homo Erraticus'.

Ian AndersonIan Anderson prometió un nuevo trabajo en 2014 tras el 'Thick As a Brick 2'  de 2012, así que poco hemos tenido que esperar. Lo mejor de todo es el estilo: el mítico músico anuncia que presentará una fusión de folk y metal progresivo.

Pues bien,  Anderson ha publicado un vídeo desde el estudio donde está grabando 'Homo Erraticus', del cual ha incidido en que será conceptual y que mezclará folk, progresivo clásico y metal. También añadió el genio vivo de los Tull que será "más agresivo que la segunda parte de 'Thick As A Brick'", esto es, menos guitarras acústicas y más flautas y guitarras eléctricas".

El británico espera que 'Homo Erraticus' esté para la primavera de 2014, ya que ha cumplido las fechas previstas entrando a grabarlo desde este mes de diciembre. También pretende comenzar la gira en abril en Reino Unido.

(Prog) Prog is currently streaming a trailer video in which Ian Anderson introduces his upcoming solo album Homo Erraticus and of its release next month.
It's the third record to feature Gerald Bostock, who first appeared in 1972's Jethro Tull release Thick As A Brick, then returned in Anderson's Thick As A Brick 2 in 2012. Prog last month launched a clip from an in-depth interview about the new LP.

Homo Erraticus will be released on April 14 in the UK and Europe (April 11 in Germany, April 15 in North America) on Anderson's imprint Calliandra Records via Kscope.

He kicks off an extensive UK tour on April 28, with shows featuring the album in full along with a selection of Jethro Tull classics, updated with video and theatrics.
